Brainstorm Blog #2

(I don't have handy the pictures I used to inspire my brainstorming anymore so please bare with me!)

For this project, I really wanted to emphasize focusing on color and value instead of my usual sketch > lineart > color > shade process, and so I knew doing a portrait would let me do that in a way that was still challenging, but fairly familiar.

I originally wanted to create something in blender to build off of what I'd done last semester, however, I was just too busy to make it work and create something I'd be proud to show off, so instead I decided to just refine more of what I've been working on in the meantime.
