My name is Shea (like the butter) and I'm a nonbinary (they/them) artist, cosplayer, gamer, and dungeons and dragons player! I was born in and grew up in Denver, and I've always loved creating art since I could pick up a pencil. A lot of my muses these days are from my DND games, but I also like to draw art of the games that I play and anime that I watch!

I'm an art practices major, and my preferred medium is digital art with my Huion tablet and clip studio paint. When I was younger I would typically make art with just the usual pencil and paper, and maybe paint if I was feeling like it. I only experimented with mediums that weren’t those in art classes, and even then typically I didn’t feel drawn to any of those the same way I liked plain old drawing. So, when I discovered digital art and got my first wacom tablet in middle school, that completely changed my entire art trajectory; I could still draw like I’ve always done, but with all of the conveniences of digital art software at my fingertips.

I took DA1 last semester, and honestly, it has been one of my favorite classes I’ve ever taken, even beyond art classes. It allowed me to learn things that I was already familiar with and passionate about, and I’m very excited to see what the future brings me with this class, and further in my art endeavors :)
